Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships both in and outside of the organization; to manage projects; to oversee processes excluding laboratory operations; to assist in maintaining GLP compliance; to anticipate and prevent problems; assist with business development activities.
Specific responsibilites include:

Builds and maintains positive relationships with clients and colleagues, facilitates communication and cooperation between team members.

Keeps senior management informed of progress, deadlines and issues.

Manages projects including client communications and expectations, project scheduling, project tracking, reporting, sample storage, archiving studies.

Implements project management methodology to improve the existing processes, reduces method development times and ensures a steady flow of new projects to achieve department strategic and financial goals (in conjunction with Project Management Team).

Anticipates and prevents problems, assists in solving problems that do occur – with regards to GLP compliance, safety, resource allocation, client complaints.

Schedules meetings (creates agendas, writes minutes and acts on follow up actions).

Ensures compliance to Quality Assurance Procedures, understanding GLP issues and compliance for study record binders, study records, study plans, computer files, archiving; communicates the standard expected from colleagues.

Communicates with Corporate Quality Assurance as required regarding changes in the project's schedule to ensure the GLP master schedule is always updated.
Job Qualifications:

Technical diploma in a related field

Minimum 3 years of project management experience

Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation is an asset
