2008-01 Health Canada Announces Results of Trans Fat Monitoring Program Health Canada is pleased to present the first set of monitoring data from the Trans Fat Monitoring Program. From 2005-2007, the Trans Fat Monitoring Programhas been analyzing the levels of fats found in foods at restaurant and fast food establishments as well as pre-packaged foods. The monitoring data provides information on the total fat, the trans fat, and the saturated fat levels in foods.
