CANTEST's Chairman of the Board receives one of Canada's highest honours

Burnaby, British Columbia – June 29, 2007. Dr. Don Rix, CANTEST’s Chairman of the Board, has been appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in recognition of a lifetime of outstanding achievement and dedication to the community.
Dr. Rix was among 71 new appointments to the Order of Canada, announced today by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada.
Honours awarded to Dr. Rix in the past include
- Honorary Doctor of Technology, BCIT
- Honorary Doctor of Science degrees from the University of Western Ontario, BCIT and SFU
- Appointed to Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights Hospitaller
- Recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal
