Mobile Laboratory & Field Services

The purpose of the Field Services group is to provide sampling support to engineers and industry for routine, non-consultative sampling projects.
 
CANTEST's Mobile Laboratories are equipped with the same instrumentation as in most fixed laboratories, including the following:

• Gas Chromatographs
• Sample extraction equipment
• Laboratory gas systems
• Quality Assurance verification

These facilities are particularly useful on the following sites, where time is a critical factor:

• Open excavations
• Site assessments
• Remediation projects
• Emergency response situations

Field Support Services

CANTEST's mobile laboratory capabilities are complemented by the Field Services group. This group can assist with specific field requirements, including the following:

• Automated composite sampling for discharge permit compliance
• Groundwater collection, including monitoring well and surface water locations
• Field pH, dissolved oxygen and temperature readings 
• On-site training in sampling techniques, preservation, and chain of custody completion for client field personnel
• Establishment of a field laboratory for routine or ongoing analyses of specific analytes
• Medical gas inspection and certification services
