CANTEST plans $9.5 million expansion of Burnaby facilitiesBurnaby, British Columbia. CANTEST Ltd. unveiled today details of its $9.5 Million expansion plan, which includes the redesign and occupancy of a nearby building as well as the expansion of its current head office, which will continue to operate from its Life Sciences Centre in Burnaby. The additional capacity will allow the company to incorporate new service offerings, including those from recent acquisitions. It will also provide opportunities to streamline internal processes, enhance infrastructure and accommodate a 40% increase in staff planned over the coming months. As a GxP facility, the new building, which is comprised of about 42,000 square feet, is expected to house CANTEST’s BioPharma Services and Industrial Hygiene divisions.
