CANTEST Chairman inducted into Business Hall of Fame

Burnaby, British Columbia. Dr. Don Rix, Chairman of the Board of CANTEST Ltd., was welcomed yesterday into The Business Laureates of BC Hall of Fame.

The Business Hall of Fame was established to recognize leaders who have demonstrated a unique vision in achieving the highest level of business excellence, while contributing to the prosperity of British Columbia. To be inducted into the Hall of Fame, Laureates must

  • have shown a vision unique amongst their peers;
  • have provided leadership to move others to achieve their goals;
  • have demonstrated integrity throughout their lives;
  • have built a legacy that will enrich all those that follow.

2006 Laureates were nominated by their peers and chosen by an independent Selection Committee, which included Jim Pattison, Sue Paish and Irving K. Barber.

Dr. Rix and other 2006 Laureates were welcomed to the Hall of Fame at a Gala Dinner & Induction Ceremony on May 18 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
