The receipt of this award caps off a tremendous year at CANTEST, during which the company was also recognized as one of B.C.’s 25 Best Companies to work for and its Chairman, Dr. Donald Rix, won an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Yearâ award.
Established in 1993, the Best Managed award is a national program, recognizing Canadian companies that have implemented world-class business practices and created value in innovative ways. Applications are reviewed by an independent judging panel that evaluates how companies address various business challenges, including leadership, leveraging and developing core competencies and hiring the right talent to facilitate growth.
2005 winners of the Canada’s 50 Best Managed companies award will be honoured at the annual Best Managed gala in Toronto on February 6.
