CANTEST named finalist for the National ''50 Best Managed Private Companies'' competition.

Burnaby, British Columbia. CANTEST Ltd., a Burnaby-based Life Sciences company, is pleased to announce that it has been named a finalist for the "50 Best Managed Private Companies” competition.

Companies considered for the award must undergo a formal evaluation process, which includes in-depth interviews conducted by Deloitte & Touche and CIBC. This year, thousands of organizations from across the country submitted applications to the program and CANTEST was one of only 12 companies from BC to be named a finalist.

The last phase of judging will take place over the next couple of months, with an adjudication panel comprised of business leaders and academic faculty members choosing the 50 winners. The final 50 will be named at a special ceremony in Toronto in February of 2006.
