Doug Blakeway joins CANTEST Board of Directors

Burnaby, British Columbia.  Burnaby-based Life Sciences company CANTEST Ltd. announced today that Doug Blakeway has joined the company’s board of directors as its seventh member.

Doug Blakeway is the President and CEO of Strategic Technologies Inc., a publicly traded international developer and distributor of wireless security and tracking equipment for corrections and law enforcement agencies. A successful entrepreneur and investor, Mr. Blakeway has brought a variety of patented projects to profitable commercial application. He has organized and operated several successful startup companies ranging from service firms to high-technology manufacturing over the past forty years and possesses significant expertise in international business.

Mr. Blakeway has been a Director with a number of TSX listed firms and currently serves on the boards of the Canadian Listed Company Association, Legend Power Systems Inc. and Texas Gas & Oil Inc.
