CANTEST Granted SABCS MembershipJuly 20, 2004 Burnaby, British Columbia - Dr. Charles LeBlanc, CANTEST's Environmental Services Manager, was recently granted membership in the Science Advisory Board for Contaminated Sites in British Columbia (SABCS). The Science Advisory Board for Contaminated Sites is a recognized non-profit foundation that studies the science and technology related to provincial, national and international remediation of contaminated sites. Through collaboration with qualified academic, government and industry scientists, the SABCS reviews and oversees projects related to contaminated sites remediation. Its efforts to advance the scientific understanding of contaminated sites management makes the SABCS a significant tool for professionals working in the field. Dr. Charles LeBlanc, CANTEST’s Environmental Services Manager, is the latest addition to the SABCS society. With expertise in areas of inorganic mass spectrometry, Dr. LeBlanc has published numerous papers on trace analytical techniques and has worked in GLP and GMP quality systems environments. His technical background, in conjunction with his strong communication and project management skills, have qualified Charles to assist with the implementation of SABCS objectives.
