CANTEST Increases Bioanalytical Capacity - Sciex API 4000SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT June 30, 2004 Burnaby, B.C. - Leading Canadian Life Sciences Laboratory CANTEST Ltd. invests in an additional Sciex API 4000 LC/MS/MS instrument. The acquisition of the organization's third API 4000, announced today by CANTEST president Don M. Enns, significantly improves capacity within the company's bioanalytical division (formerly known as ABR). The company now features in excess of $10M in state-of-the art analytical instrumentation including a total of five production LC/MS/MS units at its Life Sciences Centre in Burnaby, BC. Dr. Adrien Musuku, Laboratory Director for CANTEST's bioanalytical division, was highly supportive of the company's decision to standardize on API 4000 technology: “This particular instrument is the most sensitive LC/MS/MS solution available.
