CANTEST is in the process of designing "CANTRACK", a brand new, client-focused Laboratory Information Management System.

CANTRACK is being developed in partnership with IBM and Labware to provide clients with the ability to view and retrieve project data though a user-friendly, secure graphical interface. The system will be easily accessed through the CANTEST website using any web browser from any location.

CANTRACK will allow CANTEST clients access to:

• Real-time, instant access to analytical results, QC data, statistical graphing, custom reporting and chain of custody documents;
• Access to data and status of samples 24 hours a day, seven days a week;
• User-level password protected client login;
• Secure electronic reporting and invoicing;
• The ability to view and print the Certificate of Analysis on the Web or receive a mailed hardcopy;
• The ability to assign varying levels of access to appropriate staff if and as required (i.e. to prevent unauthorized staff from viewing billing information);
• The ability to view and/or download chromatograms online as PDF documents;
• Statistical overviews of data can be made available upon request.
