Vacation Entitlement
CANTEST employees enjoy one of the best vacation time policies in the industry! Entitlement is based on years of service; pro-rated for the first year of employment. Staff with 1-5 years of service receive 15 days per year, 6-10 years receive 20 and long-term employees with over 10 years of service are eligible for 25 vacation days per year.

Flexible Work Schedules
CANTEST employees in most operational areas of the company have some flexibility in their working hours. Departmental managers work with staff to develop schedules that take into account personal commitments and preferences.

Family Emergency Program
CANTEST recognizes that family emergencies sometimes take priority over work. For this reason, the company developed the Family Emergency Program which entitles employees to three days of paid leave to admit family members to hospital, make alternate childcare arrangements or to deal with similar unforseen personal circumstances.

Long Service Recognition
CANTEST values those employees who choose to commit their working lives to the company for significant periods. Employees with 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years of service are formally recognized for their  loyalty through the Long Service Recognition Program. This recognition includes a certificate, gift and a monetary award.

Compassionate Leave
The company offers Compassionate Leave by way of paid time-off for employees who need to make arrangements for, or to attend the funeral of, an immediate family member.

Subsidized Parking
CANTEST offers free parking stall assignments to staff on a seniority basis. In addition, the company has leased a number of off-site spots and shares the monthly cost with employees. Staff who car pool have shared access to a number of stalls in the main parking lot and can schedule use of these spots through the employee-sponsored "go green" initiative.
